This is a beautiful exchange, you two. Patrick, I remember the first time Alex went to Vallambrosa for an Enneagram Training after his final term. He sat on panels with Helen Palmer and David Daniels and shared his story. After hearing what happened to him and how much he had overcome, people came up to him and said how inspired they were to take up the work in a new way. There is a spirit of Divine Reciprocity in The Work, just as you say, Patrick, we do it together. It’s heartening when we remember that we are not alone, not more broken or less, just hurting. We hurt in relationship, as Gabor Mate says, and we heal in relationship, in our community. ✨
Berneil it was easy to see your heart. I will always be grateful for the presence you brought into our class. I remember when we returned to class and you allowed us to see you realizing what the Enneagram is meant to show us. There is nothing wrong with us. I appreciate the credit you give me but hope that you never forget that we do this work together. Peace and blessings ❤️
I am 77 and have been running away (from me) for over 50 years...and Im not exaggerating. When I said I was no longer going to be afraid to be free I truly meant that---and the strength you showed/exuded/whatever it was, touched that part of me to release the fear. I have been transformed ever since that moment---and Still cry every time I either tell my story or even Think of that moment. I shall be forever grateful. .....and the ripple keeps going. I am glad I've had the chance to share this with you. You are one beautiful soul! Thank you thank you.
